These two experiences—one a sudden absence, the other a slow goodbye—revealed the gap I am now on a mission to bridge. As an end-of-life advocate and hospice volunteer, I've learned that planning to end well isn't just about the day we are gone; it's about the peace and presence we create for our families while we are still here.
